Ah, this was fun read! I liked Noah and Lexi! There are so cute together. It's easy and fast paced novella, and I enjoyed reading it. I haven’t read anything else from Tawna Fenske, but after this, I’m excited to check out her other books.

**3.5 Stars** Being stuck in an elevator is not anyone's idea of fun, but since Noah is there with a gorgeous woman passing the time until they're rescued could be interesting. Well, if she wasn't married that is. Lexi, a bartender, has accepted that getting hit on is a regular part of her job, but that doesn't mean she can't do anything to deter it. So, hello fake wedding ring. It doesn't stop everyone, but it helps. But fate has other plans in mind for these two and continually pushes them together. Their chemistry is off the charts and being in the same room makes them feel as if no one else exists. The feelings that started that first day are growing rapidly and neither really want to stop them. Besides, it's not like they actually could, right? Fate always gets her way. This is a fun romantic comedy in Tawna Fenske's lovable quirky style! A meet cute in a stuck elevator and an unusual pet ( a packrat! 2.5/5 Noah was too perfect. But, I did enjoy that they deal with the issue of going from a stranger to a love interest. Lexi is the right amount of skeptical and Noah is very aware that people (women specifically) could feel uneasy around him. He thus tries to show that he is a good guy, rather than being affronted when Lexi is wary of him. *Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review*

Just wanted a short read Insta-love Books like this are making me cynical about romance novels. I kind of knew the insta-love was going to happen but I still wanted to give it a try. Well, the plot was cute but the romance was definitely not apt for me. Nonetheless, this reminds me of the wedding date book where the protagonists were stuck in an elevator. P.S This is just a bias review from someone who does not like insta-love.

I'm way ahead of you when it comes to that :) I highly recommend you guys this lovely gem, and I'm really sorry I can't share more details, but I honestly think that it's better for your reading experience if you know less... that way you can gasp in surprise just like I did ;) happy reading :) XOXO A for more book-ish stuff visit: my blog -> https://bookworm8619.blogspot.com/ my facebook page -> https://www.facebook.com/bookworm8619/

After an awkward meeting in a stuck elevator stonemason Noah and bartender Lexi, who both lied about being hitched with a significant other(s), cross path again. This is a funny, feel-good novella with likeable characters and a romantic kick. As in the other books I read by the same author she has a talent for outrageous funny dialogs without being silly. Since Tawna Fenkse tends to lose her bite in the second half of normal length novels this is the perfect story length for her. IMHO. Well done!

What a sweet story about being in the right place when life throws you a curveball. Noah and Lexi meet under very uncomfortable circumstances (my heart panicked when the elevator stopped). What occurs next is life like an elevator and finding your happily ever after. My only disappointment, wanting more to read. I adore Tawna Fenske's novels she has a knack for delivering likable and relatable characters.

Need a lift? Look no further. This hot and hilarious Fenske novella is just the ticket to raise your spirits! Noah gets my vote as the romance hero I'd most like to be stuck in an elevator with -- mmm-mmm, good! But if it can't be me, Lexi makes a fine stand-in. The ups and downs on the way to true love made for a thoroughly enjoyable ride. Oh, and if you're not terribly fond of small rodents, trust me, you will be by he end of this book. Fun!

This is my first book by this author and I thought it was a fun and cute novella. It was a quick read that made me smile a bunch and I thought both Noah and Lexi were adorable together. I mean, I wouldn’t hate being stuck in an elevator with a six foot five hottie. I’ve never heard of a packrat before, so that little guy and his shenanigans were cute too.

What a fun little read. Not my normal genre, but enjoyed this novella. Perfect names for Noah and Lexi. Even though the plot was predictable, the characters were so delightful I was compelled to "read on." Added bonus was the artwork included in the story. Quickly realized I needed to switch from my Kindle Reader to the Kindle app on my iPad so the graphics were visible. I'll definitely read more of her books when I'm in the mood for a quick and quirky read.

I normally don't like novellas bec I find them too short and therefore, too abrupt. But the blurb for this book was so adorable. And the novella was just that --- adorable. I really enjoyed it! It's fun and funny with such sweethearts for MC's. It's just what I was looking for in between long, heavy reads.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Noah and Lexi) GOING UP follows the building relationship between quirky and odd mixologist Lexi Allison, and stonemason Noah Donovan. Trapped in an elevator with a gorgeous man, Lexi Allison would meet her future in the guise of stonemason Noah Donovan. Pet sitting her best friend’s ‘packrat’ who will inadvertently take refuge in Noah’s lunch bag, Allison must come to grips with her own numerous quirks and emotional instabilities in an effort to remain calm in the face of potential disaster. A stuck elevator, a couple of lies, a series of misunderstandings, a purse thief, a bratwurst, and a pet rat that goes missing, not once but twice, add to the oddball misadventures for our story line couple. The premise is entertaining; the romance is sweet and passionate but mostly implied; the characters are colorful, charismatic and engaging. GOING UP is a sweet and delightful quick read. As to the Kindle in Motion option, I was unable to access therefore I am not prepared to comment either way but if you want to see for yourself, venture to GOING UP at Amazon, and watch from the side. copy supplied by Netgalley www.thereadingcafe.com

He helps get Noah and Lexie back together (and managed to charm his way into my heart, too). Since this is a “Kindle in Motion” I suppose I should review that as well. I have to say that, while the concept is an interesting one, I really wasn’t too impressed with it. I read the book first without the animation and enjoyed it. When I eventually saw the animation it didn’t really add anything, plus the actor who portrayed Noah didn’t fit my image of him at all. I guess I just prefer the version of the book Tawna’s words and my imagination built in my head. I still absolutely recommend the book. It has heart, heat and an adorable pack rat. A little misunderstandings here and mistakes there, but it's funny to see how it all works out. I really liked Noah- he's this big burly guy, but he's so passionate about what he does, and he's genuinely a good guy. The bratwurst part made me laugh hahaha I can't believe that happened. And Lexi herself is trying to deal with something that happened in her past, and she eventually lets Noah into her life- because let's admit it, he's so sweet. Overall, I recommend this book if you want something cute! They only complaint I have is that I wished it was longer! But it's a novella, so you should know that going in (: Thank you Montlake Romance for this wonderful ARC!

This was a laugh out loud book! I couldn't put it down. I had to read it all in one sitting. Noah and Lexi are the type of people that I love to read about. From the moment you meet him, he is just this gentle giant who is always having to make himself seem less intimidating based on his size. He is having to worry about what the woman is seeing when they look at him. As you read about him, you find out very quickly how good of a guy he is. I loved the brat scene!! These two characters were really fun to read. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to read about them. My only complaint was that my Kindle was not one that allowed for the "kindle in motion" thing. It would have been interesting to see that.

But Lexi's not really married, she just uses the ring and excuse to keep away the unwanted suitors her job brings in. Fate, or a packrat, brings them back together and from there its a comedic ride with love. This was such a cute, fun and quick read. The fast pace of the novella combined with the laughs of a rom com lead to me reading this within a few hours. Once you start you are caught up in Noah and Lexi. I recommend this if you have a few hours to spare and need a good laugh. **ARC provided for honest review**

This is the second book I’ve read by the author and I absolutely adored it. From cover to cover I was hooked and I couldn’t put it down, I read it in one sitting and I wished it was longer as I really loved the characters. Noah was such a wonder male character to follow in this book (I’d like my own Noah, please)! and you could really feel his feeling towards Lexi from page to page. I really related to Lexi and I loved how Noah constantly make her feel safe. I was provided with a copy of this book via Netgalley to review.
